How to Verify the E kYC for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?

Two ways to do e-KYC:-

Farmers can complete e-KYC for PM Kisan in two ways. The e-KYC process can be completed online at home through PM Kisan's official website. Farmers can also get their e-KYC done by visiting their nearest CSC (Common Service Center). It is noteworthy that if the farmer does e-KYC through OTP himself, you do not have to pay any money, whereas if you go to the Common Service Center and get e-KYC done, he has to pay. What is the fee?

E-KYC will be done through biometric system of PM Kisan beneficiary farmers at Common Service Center. In other words, this process will be completed with the fingerprint of the farmer. E-KYC deadline has been extended:-

The Central Government has extended the deadline for completion of compulsory e-KYC process to avail the benefits of this scheme. According to PM Kisan Portal, this process can now be completed by May 31, 2022. Earlier, the deadline was March 31, 2022, which was later changed to May 22. About 12.53 crore farmers in the country are registered under the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The central government has made the e-KYC process mandatory for the beneficiaries of the project. According to PM Kisan portal, eKYC is mandatory for farmers registered with PM KISAN.


When does the money come?

Under this scheme farmers are given Rs.500 per month. It is given in four monthly installments. So far 10 installments have been given. Who can't take advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?

  • If a farmer cultivates but the field is not in his name but in the name of his father or grandfather, then he will not get the benefit of Rs.6000 per annum. The land must be in the name of the farmer.
  • If someone has agricultural land but there is non-agricultural work in it, then the benefit will not be available.
  • Even if there is no cultivation in the cultivable land, the benefits will not be obtained.
  • If a farmer cultivates land on lease from another farmer, then the person cultivating that rent will not get the benefit of this scheme.
  • Not all institutional landowners will be covered under this scheme.
  • If a farmer or any member of his family is or is in a constitutional position, then that farmer family will not get the benefit.
  • State / Central Government employees or retired government employees, retired or employed employees of PSU / PSE, working or retired officers of government autonomous bodies and employees, employees of local bodies will not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.
  • Former or acting Minister / State Minister, Mayor or District Panchayat President, MLA, MLC, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MP are not eligible.
  • Professionals like doctors, engineers, CAs, architects and lawyers will not get the benefit of this project even if they are engaged in agriculture.
  • Retired pensioners receiving a monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000 will not get the benefit.
  • If a farmer or a member of his family has paid income tax in the last assessment year, then that farmer family will also be excluded from the scope of this scheme.


How to check the name in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi list?

Beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can check their names in the beneficiary list for the 8th installment. The list has been uploaded on the portal pmkisan.gov.in, which contains the names of the beneficiaries under the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare. To check the name-

  • Click on pmkisan.gov.in.
  • After opening the website, look at menu bar and go to 'Farmer's Corner'.
  • Click on the Beneficiary List or Beneficiary List tab.
  • Enter your state, district, sub-district, block and then village details.
  • After that you have to click on Get Report, then you will get the information.
  • The names of the farmers who have been given the benefit of this project by the government can be seen by state / district / tehsil / village.
